The Light and the Dark Within

Millions upon millions of us are now witnessing these painful gyrations, as we struggle to find a path to peace. And thankfully, we are able to reach out to each other from around the world. Surely, as we look out across the globe we can see so clearly our collective capacity of cultivating and creating incredible beauty from a common spiritual wellspring of Loving Kindness. Likewise, we can see our capacity for the cultivation of pain and hatred rendered from fostering fear and deprivation.

From a global perspective, we can also clearly see a correlation between fear, deprivation, distrust and human suffering. Everywhere humans walk this earth who are driven by fear distrust and lack, and everywhere the seeds of fear and deprivation are sown, great pain and suffering are being produced.

The products of fear are the same, regardless if fear is acted upon by individuals, groups, nations, corporations, religious institutions, governments, political leaders, men or women. The passive, the aggressive, the overt, and the covert infliction of pain and suffering upon another sentient being is, by any description not an act of LOVE. Whether suffering is the result of lead poisoned water, the denial of healthcare to one in need, possessive or controlling manipulations imposed upon another, torture, maiming or killing another, all are fear based acts. Each of these acts produces suffering and destruction of life. The fear that produces these acts is not only within each of us, this fear is part of our human experience.

Sometimes, in our fear of victimization we swing to our inner polar opposite and attempt to stomp out all that is perceived to be the opposite of “good. We try to stomp it out inside ourselves as well as others. This act, however usually sets us back to chasing our own tail. For such acts, often produce the equal and opposite reaction. This very cycle is why we see so many self-proclaimed righteous people acting out in ways directly opposite of what they proclaim.

Perhaps what we are being shown here is the way to breaking this cycle of chasing our tail, is not found in attempting to annihilate all that is viewed as a polar opposite of peace. Rather we might seek to find a higher “GROUND”. Perhaps in touching a spiritual chord within our hearts we awaken something in us that “GROUNDs” our fear; slows the fear-pain cycle, and finally releases us to move toward the creation of peace.

May we seek not to deny fear’s existence, but rather may we seek to embrace fear as a part of our blessed human experience. Embracing fear loosens fear’s grip. When fear loosens its grip we are able to awaken more and more to our spiritual nature. When we are more in tune in with our spiritual nature, we know assurance, sustenance, serenity and a world of magic replete with an abundance of LOVE. We are grounded, we are whole, we are complete.

When we are aware of our spiritual nature, our actions will increasingly reflect LOVE, even in the face of fear. Our actions will increasingly cultivate peace and promote harmony.

May we each embrace what is frightened in us. May we walk steadily on through the illusion of separation and be filled with the majesty of living life abundantly, whole, and together. May each of us, take the time to draw deeply from our “Spiritual Nature” as we strive for peace within our human nature.

As each one of us embraces our spiritual nature LOVE will continue to grow across this planet connecting and grounding this entire planet in spiritual harmony!

Peace LK
