Cecil the Lion King

Blessed Cecil,
Cecil represents two powerful archetypes, that of Innocence, and that of majestic mature “ruler/King”.  These two words describe what is at the heart of every human being.  Every human being is most majestic and powerful when they embrace their innocence. Power is a word in this case which does not mean to dominate or control another it is a word which means the courage to be humble enough to allow others to live without fear of dominance or control. When our sense of innocence so lost within us, we are left with raw fear – driving self centered will into proving ones power ones authority via destruction and domination.
Please… see that the grief and horror surrounding the killing of this beautiful animal is directly connected to a deep thread within the human and humane spirit, the thread of innocence that runs through each of us, man, women, child, and animal.  Know that our collective outrage is as much about the destruction of this lion and the perpetrator of this killing as it is about a deep calling from our collective consciousness.  May we heed this calling toward our reclaiming of our innocence and a commitment to embrace the mature “King” within ourselves.   Recommended read is a book by Dr. Robert Moore, PhD,  entitled: King, Warrior, Magician, Lover.
