Corruption an Unnecessary Evil

Corruption seems to be the word of the century.  But corruption is really an expression of socio cultural norms which have promoted sociopathy over the arduous pursuit of humane honest, and  integrous  choices in actions when solving problems.   When institutions, social economic systems and corporations reward sociopathy, corruption just becomes another a frontier for competition over who can be better at lying and manipulating.  The reward often being money power or material trinkets.    Sociopathy is an absence of LOVE .  In LOVE’s absence there is among other elements, an absence of empathy.  Without empathy or values for fellow human beings and the planet upon which we live to act as a compass, all that is left is the base desire to win at all costs propelled by the base fear of losing.  This cultural form of social darwinism is man made.     Our institutions, governments and corporations are made of people.  We must find ways to be brave and choose integrity over greed, over deception and trickery. We  must find the strength to say no to participating in schemes which will result in the harm of others and the planet.   There are more of us out here in the world who want peace, justice, based in honest dialogue and collaboration than are those that do not.  What is more, those who do not want peace and justice also know change is imminent.    The closer we get to making this leap forward in our collective hearts, the more imminent the change toward global health.  This is after all, about saving ourselves from ourselves.   We must choose.
